– Contactless Face Scan based Health Monitoring

Why this data is being collected?

You are invited to take part in a data collection session. The information collected will be used to develop and test an AI-based medical tool that estimates vital signs from facial videos.

What will happen if you participate?

The session will take about 5 minutes and includes:

  • Recording basic details (age, sex, brief medical history)
  • A short facial video (about 45–60 seconds)
  • Measurement of vital signs (heart rate, breathing rate, oxygen level, blood pressure, blood sugar)

Are there any risks?
  • Blood pressure measurement using instrument may feel slightly tight for a few seconds.
  • For blood glucose measurement, you may feel slight pricking sensation when you are collecting data.
  • Your facial video will be securely stored, but as with any digital data, a small privacy risk always exists.
